VMware Chief Operating Officer Sanjay Poonen’s theme for day two of VMworld 2018 was Pioneers of the Possible.

Poonen kicked his key note off on a high note    quite literally, as he played the keyboard alongside the live band! He interviewed some of VMware’s key customers and partners like Brink’s Company and National Commercial Bank of Jamaica, who are redefining their digital business strategy centered around the power of software-defined technologies in storage and networking. The basis of his message was focused on the “digital foundation company” and how innovation and customer obsession is key to a success.

The most fascinating and one of a kind interview was Poonen’s dialogue with Pakistani activist for girls’ education and Oxford student, Malala Yousafzai — the youngest person ever awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
