To set up your Modem, follow these steps:
- Unbox your modem and connect the power cable.
- Connect the coaxial cable from your wall outlet to the coax port on the modem.
- Connect an Ethernet cable from one of the Ethernet ports on the modem to an Ethernet port on your computer.
- Turn on your modem and your computer.
- Wait for the modem to start up. This may take a few minutes.
- Once the modem is started up, open a web browser on your computer.
- In the address bar, type the IP address of your modem. This is typically 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.
- You will be prompted to enter a username and password. This information is typically included in the documentation that came with your modem.
- Once you have logged in, you will be able to configure your modem settings. This may include setting up your internet connection, changing your wireless password, and more.
- Once you have finished configuring your modem, click the "Save" button.
- Your modem is now set up and you should be able to connect to the internet.
