Thanksgiving Day is a celebration of giving thanks for the bountiful harvest. The traditions may have changed and evolved through time, but the significance remains. Modern Thanksgiving celebration is a gathering of families, sharing food and merriment. While the older folks are busy preparing food for the feast and decorating the area, kids are working to out win each other. Materials:

Turkey template*

Craft Foam/Sponge Sheet

Googly eyes

Glue

Pencil

Scissors

1. You can make your own template. On your preferred drawing software program, create turkey parts that will serve as template for this Thanksgiving craft for kids. Print the template once completed.
2. You can use and print the template below. Only print in black to highlight the lines. If you are out of black ink or toner, buy a replacement from Toner Refill Store.

How to Make Easy Paper Thanksgiving Turkey?

Step 1. Cut the turkey shape template.

b.      Place the turkey feather tail over blue craft foam. Trace and cut afterwards. Repeat this step

4 more times using different craft foam color every time.

c.       Place the turkey beak, wattle, and legs & feet over light pink craft foam. Trace and cut afterwards.

Step 3.

Step 4. Assemble the paper turkey. Glue the parts.
