IPv6 is now being adopted by most of the provider and most of the hosting Providers and service providers are now offering IPv6.

With IPv4, we can Directly access any web server’s URL as follow:

http://12.34.56.78

But with IPv6, we cannot access it directly. We have to put [ and ] in the URL as follow:

http://[2607:5300:120:11c:120:11c::]/

If you do not specify [ and ] in the URL, you can’t access web server URL using IP address.
