Public Mobile to launch services in Canada

A new Canadian operator Public Mobile plans to launch services in Toronto and Montreal in Mid May 2010.

They have already opened 25 shops across both cities.

To truly differentiate themselves from competition Public Mobile is plans to offer contract free lines with unlimited calls and text messaging within North America for CAD 40 [$39.40] monthly fee.

Public Mobile is a privately help company, which plans top extend its services to Ontario and Quebec through 2010 and 2011.

They will offer various mobile handsets from ZTE, Kyocera and Samsung.

Public Mobile got their wireless license spectrum in 2008 and it cover approximately 19 million Canadians in Ontario and Quebec.

They are one of the five new entrants in the Canadian Mobile market. Other new entrants who have recently launched are; DAVE and Globalalive. Shaw Communications says it will beings services later this year.
