Here's how to configure your BB device so that it automatically turns of the data services whenroaming
1) From your Menu Screen select the Options icon. {Icon looks like a “screwdriver”}
2) Click on Mobile Network from the list.
3) Click on the Data Services option, and then activate the Off When Roaming command
Save your changes and your phone will automatically turn of the data services when you areroaming roaming
Option 2: Where the subscriber would require some/limited email correspondence.
This is a somewhat cumbersome way to prevent HUGE data Roaming Bills but it would be required for someone who would like to check email periodically.
