Yesterday, Spectra Logic hosted its annual Bring Your Kid to Work Day and (as always) it was an amazing time! With nearly 100 kids in attendance, it truly was a lively day here at Spectra.

Here were a few of the top highlights from throughout the day:

Each kid was provided with a t-shirt and “employee” badge upon check-in.

They went on a tour of both headquarter buildings.

We had local author and speaker, 13-year-old Kate Dellett, come in and speak about bullying, and everyone that attended received a copy of her book “Ally the Brave.”

She even did a book signing for everyone!

Our annual department “Tradeshow” was a big hit! They got to hear from several of our departments, learn about what they do, and ask lots of questions. And the candy as giveaways wasn’t a bad idea.

There was Spectra Bingo and Sydney Zeroll managed to complete the entire sheet!

We had a “Design the new Spectra logo” contest, an annual tradition where the winner gets to have their design printed on next year’s shirt and marketing materials, as well as a $20 Target Gift card. Konjit Mewes was the designer of our 2016 logo.

The day ended with an Ice Cream Social! Rumor has it that lots of Spectra kids slept really great last night after a very busy day!

Check out this awesome new video, showing all the fun things that went on here at Spectra on #BYKTWD 2016.
