This week, CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, announced its 2017 Channel Chiefs. This annual list recognizes executives in the IT channel driving revenue and growth in their organizations through relationships with channel partners. Spectra Logic is proud to have two of its own executives included this year: chief sales officer, Brian Grainger, and senior director of marketing, Betsy Doughty.

Channel Chief honorees are selected by CRN’s editorial staff on the basis of their professional achievements, standing in the industry, dedication to the channel partner community and strategies for driving future growth and innovation. Each of the 2017 Channel Chiefs has demonstrated loyalty and ongoing support for the IT channel by consistently promoting, defending and executing outstanding channel partner programs.

With more than 25 years of experience in the storage industry, including 20 years of channel experience, Brian Grainger is responsible for the overall corporate sales strategy, P&L, territory development and expansion for more than 40 countries around the globe. He expanded the Spectra channel from 20 countries to more than 50, and currently oversees 750+ channel partners.

Betsy Doughty oversees channel marketing, technology partnerships, vertical marketing, PR and AR, and marketing communications. She has 18 years of experience within the industry and channel sales and marketing, supporting sales initiatives and building alliances with Spectra’s reseller and technology partners via the SpectraEDGE channel program.
