The Power Mac G5 is the latest of Apple Computer advanced system. In fact, it is considered by many as not only the fastest Mac available, but the best PC to date. By using a liquid cooling system, the G5 is able to take its powerful dual processors running cool and fast. Currently, dual processors come in speeds of 1.8 GHz, 2 GHz and 2.5 GHz. Do not let GHz confound you, though. These systems have been off the fastest Pentium 4 systems commonly used in applications like Photoshop.
The ability to mount the iMac on a wall or any other editing system requires that the iMac has a VESA compliant interface to attach. For the size and weight of the iMac, it is suggested that this provides an interface 100 x 100mm holes for fixing. In addition, to remain the industry standard should use these holes 4 mm screws.
Not long ago, a client wanted their iMac computer mounted on the wall to save the workspace and it was assumed that there was support for the VESA card available from Apple. When it came time to purchase the VESA adapter kits, we found these kits have been discontinued or not available to all. To find the necessary arm mounts and wall-mount devices is easy, but attaching the iMac to those systems has been mounting a new challenge.
Further investigation reveled there are many iMac users looking for the solution VESA same card, but without winning. It became obvious that to take into account the needs of customers, I need to create an adapter kit from scratch. In reviewing the draft kit adapter with the client and the people I had talked online a few requirements for the kit have been identified. The 3 best conditions are:

(2) The adapter kit is interchangeable with the 17 inch and 20 inch iMac computers, and provide a simple method for typing.
(3) VESA adapter kit should be aesthetically suitable for the elegant iMac.
These and other requirements were considered when developing the VESA Adapter Kit for iMac, and finally met. The adapter kit provides a solution for the VESA mounting two 17-inch and 20 inch iMac, including the new aluminum iMac 20. There would be no need to buy a new kit during the transition to a new model. The interface support provides the means 100 x 100mm necessary for fixing and mounting the plate to the iMac is very simple and requires no changes to the iMac. The kit is aesthetically appropriate and merges with the iMac.
