Get ready Fitbit users! Google announced that it would replace Fitbit Pay in July with Google Wallet. The move is intended to simplify the payment process for Fitbit users and provide them with various functionalities.

It is a hub that stores credit cards, debit cards, loyalty cards, and boarding cards. Seamlessly integrates with Google Pay to allow users to pay contactless at transit, and retail systems accept Google Pay.

Fitbit Pay will be discontinued in 2024. Users can still use the cards stored within the Fitbit Pay app, but it won’t allow them to add new cards. They suggest switching before the deadline.

• Compatible with several cards and banks other than Fitbit Pay.
• It can be used to speed up checkouts at Google Pay-accepting stores.

Offers a unified experience. Users can access Google Wallet from any Google product to manage their loyalty and payment programs.

Fitbit Pay is still available in Saudi Arabia and Japan.

You can set up g Wallet using the Fitbit App if you are a Fitbit owner outside of these areas. On the Google Wallet and Fitbit websites, you can get detailed instructions.

Google is consolidating its payment options under Google Wallet. It will be the preferred payment option for Fitbit Pay users as Fitbit is phasing it out. This could pave the path for a more unified payment ecosystem within the Google universe.
