The SK-51 comes in two types:
- Type A features twin 12-station turrets with identical travels, enabling balanced machining on either spindle. This type has 9 axes of control.
- Type D, on the other hand, includes twin 12-station turrets and a 4-station rotating tool post, capable of simultaneous 5-axis processing on both the front and back sides. This type has 13 axes of control.
The machine also offers A2-5 spindle chucking options to grip parts as needed. Its slant bed design caters to the demands of difficult-to-machine materials, typically required by the medical, energy, and aerospace industries. The SK-51 provides extensive tooling options to address complex part needs.
