Safaricom PLC on Monday announced the launch of the “Grow with Safaricom Business” engagement platform tailored for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
The initiative is designed to provide a platform for knowledge-sharing and collaboration, enabling MSMEs to expand their operations effectively.
The engagement forums will be conducted through a series of workshops and seminars scheduled throughout the year. These sessions will facilitate the exchange of ideas among MSMEs, focusing on leveraging digital technologies to enhance market reach, optimize operations, and establish a robust online brand presence.
Moreover, industry experts will offer guidance on navigating regulatory frameworks to ensure compliance and foster sustainable growth.
Cynthia Kropac, Chief Enterprise Business Officer at Safaricom, emphasized the pivotal role that MSMEs play in propelling economic growth and prosperity in Kenya.
“Through the Grow with Safaricom Business series, Safaricom aims to equip MSMEs with the requisite knowledge and skills to drive sustainable growth, addressing challenges such as digital transformation, market access limitations, regulatory complexities, brand development, and digital marketing proficiency,”
In addition to the educational sessions, the platform will provide ample networking opportunities for MSMEs to engage with peers, industry specialists, and potential collaborators.
