Create Quiet time Policy in Intune for iOS iPadOS and Android Apps

You can now create a quiet time policy for both Android and iOS devices within the Intune Admin center thanks to new features included in the May update to the Intune service (2305). This post explains how to set up the offered configuration and quiet time policy.

The global quiet time settings make it easy to set guidelines for when end users should have quiet time. Administrators can mute Microsoft Outlook email and Teams notifications automatically by utilizing these settings. The purpose of these policies is to restrict the notifications that end users receive outside of work hours.

Date Range and Days of the Week are the two types of quiet time policies that are available for the iOS/iPadOS and Android platforms. Users will be able to concentrate on their tasks without interruptions thanks to this policy, which gives administrators the ability to specify specific times during which notifications will be silenced or restricted.

The ability to set start and end times for the quiet period is one of the main features of the Intune Quiet Time Policy. The precise hours or timeframes during which notifications should be silenced can be defined by administrators. Organizations are able to adapt the policy to their particular work schedules and requirements thanks to this adaptability.

The Intune Quiet Time Policy can help employees achieve a better work-life balance, reduce interruptions during meetings or critical work hours, and increase focus on important tasks by reducing distractions.
