1. Hornsea 1 Offshore Wind Farm (UK)

Located off the coast of Yorkshire, England, Hornsea 1 is currently the world's largest offshore Wind Farm. It has a total capacity of 1.2 gigawatts (GW) and comprises 174 wind turbines. Completed in 2020, it can generate enough clean energy to power over one million homes.

2. Gansu Wind Farm (China)

Situated in the Gansu Province, this offshore wind farm has a planned capacity of 6.7 GW, which will make it the largest offshore wind project in the world once completed. The project is part of China's ambitious plan to increase renewable energy generation and reduce carbon emissions.
