The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Anti-Poverty, Dr Betta Edu announced the President's order today Wednesday, where she said that her ministry will immediately cooperate with the Plateau State government in bringing humanitarian aid to those who survived the attack. and the affected communities.

She said: "It was with great shock and sadness that I learned of the excessive attacks that took place in Plateau villages which resulted in the death of more than 100 people and many injured while many others were displaced.

"I offer my condolences to the government and the people of Plateau State, especially the families of those affected by this attack on humanity, and I pray for lasting peace in the state."

Continuing, Dr Edu said, "One can only imagine the hardships, indignity and Humanitarian Challenges Faced by the survivors and victims.

"As the ministry that is directly responsible for dealing with humanitarian challenges faced by citizens in Nigeria, President Bola Tinubu has directed the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs to coordinate with the government.
