ISRO Chief Discusses Key Points of Aditya-L1 Mission

S. Somanath, the chief of the Indian Space and Research Organisation (ISRO), has revealed that India’s inaugural solar mission, the Aditya-L1 spacecraft, is expected to arrive at Lagrange Point 1 (L1) by mid-January. Currently en route, the spacecraft is embarking on a 110-day expedition from Earth to its designated location, where it will commence its observation of the Sun. ISRO chief S. Somanath shared this exciting news while addressing reporters in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. “Currently, it takes almost 110 days to travel from Earth to the L1 point,” he explained.…
