The hinge is critical in any folding device and this one creates a thinner and stronger framework by allowing the two folds to sit flush with no gap.

The LED flash has been relocated, and the device appears thinner, thanks to the new hinge design that was previously reported. Notably, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will come in beige, black, and an exciting new blue color option (shown). Other colors are rumored but the leaked renders show only three colors so far.

The Galaxy Z Flip 5: A Fresh Take on a Classic
