It does not have the critical thinking skills, error handling skills, problem solving skills and the most important thing, it does not have deep understanding and
Knowledge on a particular field, and it also cannot take decisions.
GPT just generated the information which is stored in it's database using the complicated AI algorithm and machine learning algorithms.

Chat-GPT can generate code, so why industries need programmers?
Coding is not just about writing Code, writing code it is a part of it, during coding we have to setup the environment and understand whether the code is going to work in different devices or not. While coding we have to write code which is efficient and which consume less memory. A programmer can manage all these, and can provide the solutions to these problems.
Programmers have high knowledge in their respective fields, so they understand the code and can make it even better. Due to the high knowledge they also have experience, which is most important thing.
For example, Why do we use frameworks in different programming languages ? Frameworks make our life easy, hence they provide the better environment which speed up the development period and programmers can save their time. Does not mean anyone can use frameworks and can replace or reduce the job of programmers. To use and understand the framework you need knowledge over the parent programming language.
Remember our brain is the most powerful tool, which is better then everything. We are using computers and AI models just to make our life easy. In conclusion Chat-GPT cannot replace or reduce programmers and developers. In fact it can increase the job vacancies of programmers and developers in the field of AI and machine learning.
