Method -1 – Scan the SFC

    In the search box, enter cmd.

    Right-click on Command Prompt and run it as administrator.

    Enter the following command: sfc /scannow.

    Wait for the process to complete and restart your computer.

Method -2 – Disable GPU Usage

  • Launch the Photoshop application.
  • Go to the menu bar and click on the Edit tab.
  • Select Preferences.
  • Select Display.
  • Go to GPU Settings.
  • Look for the Use Graphics Professor option and uncheck the box next to it.
  • Click on the OK button.
  • Restart the app.

Method -3 – Reset Preferences on Your Photoshop Application

  • Open the Photoshop application.
  • Click Edit.
  • Select Preferences.
  • Go to General.
  • On exit, click Reset Preferences.
  • Click OK.
  • Restart the app.

Method -4 – Update Photoshop Application

  • On your Adobe Photoshop application, navigate to the Help section.
  • Select Update.
  • Check if any updates are available and install them.
  • Restart the Photoshop application.

Method #5 – Update your graphics driver

  • Open the Run dialog box and enter the following command: devmgmt.msc.
  • Find Display Adapters and expand the menu.
  • Right-click on your graphics driver.
  • Select Update Driver.
  • Click Search automatically for drivers.
  • Restart your computer after the installation process.

Method #6 – Increase the memory allocation in your Photoshop

  • In the Photoshop application, choose Edit.
  • Go to Preferences.
  • Select Display.
  • Navigate to the Memory Usage section.
  • Click the plus sign to increase the percentage to 80%.
  • Click OK.
