Meta announce new features for WhatsApp

THE
Instant messaging platform WhatsApp has announced a new feature that allows users to send direct messages.

A new feature that will be officially available soon is Messages to Yourself. Users can post messages to their account.

This is useful for messages such as to-do lists, reminders, or unfinished messages that are to be sent later. According to Whatsapp, the feature will roll out to Android and iOS users in the coming weeks. Personal chats can be pinned and archived. How it works: According to the Mata-owned platform, when a user creates a new chat, the contact will appear at the top of the WhatsApp contact list. Tapping on that contact takes you to a chat screen that you can use to send messages to each other. To use this feature, first open WhatsApp and create a new chat. Contacts appear at the top of the list. Then click on the phone number and send a direct message. Updates from the Google Play Store affect the app, and updates from the Apple App Store affect the release. to get instant loan click here

It's not entirely new. The ability to send you messages is new to WhatsApp, but some users have been using the workaround for some time. You can message each other using the app's click-to-chat feature. However, the new proposal removes the extra steps users have to take to chat directly using wa.me URLs.
The feature is also available on other platforms such as Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp rival Signal.
Telegram also offers a similar feature called Saved Messages, which allows users to mark important messages and save notes and reminders for later access
