PM Modi Visits ISRO Scientists Involved in Chandrayaan-3 Mission

Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Karnataka’s Bengaluru to meet with Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) scientists who were involved in the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon. Before visiting India, Modi expressed his eagerness to meet the scientists and praised their dedication and passion for India’s achievements in the space sector.

During his visit, Modi will be briefed about the progress and findings of the Chandrayaan-3 mission. Visuals showed police and ISRO officials gathered outside the Isro Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru, where the meeting with scientists will take place.

Preparations were also made at the HAL airport in Bengaluru to welcome the Prime Minister, with several people gathering to celebrate his arrival. However, there won’t be any formal roadshow. Posters commemorating Chandrayaan-3’s successful landing were displayed near Delhi’s Palam Airport, greeting Modi upon his return.

India marks a significant milestone with the Chandrayaan-3 mission, as it becomes the fourth country to successfully land on the Moon’s surface, following the United States, China, and Russia. The spacecraft was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Andhra Pradesh on July 14.

PM Modi’s visit to ISRO comes after his visit to South Africa and Greece, and it highlights the government’s support and recognition of India’s achievements in the space sector.
