Road Rage Incident in Kerala Leaves Car Damaged

A Road Rage Incident in Kodungallur, Thrissur, Kerala, resulted in significant damage to a car. The incident, which was captured on video, occurred on the national highway between Vadanapallu and Kodungallur. It involved two groups of individuals engaged in a street race and rash driving, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation.

In the video, a man can be seen smashing the windows of a Maruti Suzuki Ritz with heavy stones while passengers were still inside the vehicle. The incident took place during the rush hour at 6:10 PM, attracting the attention of onlookers, who recorded the scene and shared it online.

The Kodungallur Police registered a case against eight people involved in the incident. The primary accused, Aseem, was arrested, and two others are in custody. The man throwing stones at the car, identified as Siraj, was allegedly intoxicated.

The incident caused traffic congestion for about 10 minutes in the area. The police stated that the two groups were not acquainted with each other and had no prior conflicts. Both vehicles involved in the incident were seized, with one in the possession of the Kondungallur Police and the other with the Vadanapapally Police.
