The era of the Electric vehicle (EV) convertible is here, with various models making their debut in the coming years. Among them is the Battista B95, an EV hypercar that aims to redefine the convertible experience in the electric age.

The Battista B95 shares many features with its coupe counterpart, including a 1,900hp EV powertrain, four-wheel torque vectoring, and a carbon monocoque. Chairman Paolo Pininfarina describes it as elegant, bold, beautiful, and innovative, embodying the essence of a true Pininfarina design. The vehicle will be a celebration of Pininfarina’s 95th anniversary and will showcase the brand’s commitment to developing a portfolio of new luxury electric cars.

Visually, the Battista B95 is stunning, bearing resemblance to the Ferrari Daytona SP3. The front end, in particular, stands out with its slim light signature and unique mirror placement. The car also introduces a world-first feature – electronically adjustable aero screens – which offer some protection from wind at high speeds.

The B95 draws inspiration from Pininfarina’s Pura Vision design concept but maintains its own unique identity as a high-end exotic vehicle. The brand aims to create a limited edition model with only 10 units planned for production, making it even more exclusive than the already rare Battista coupe.

Personalization options for the Battista B95 will be extensive, allowing customers to create their dream car. Production is set to begin in 2025, coinciding with Pininfarina’s 95th anniversary. While the price tag of €4.4 million ensures the vehicle’s exclusivity, it also hints at the limited market for these powerful electric supercars. Monterey Car Week is expected to attract potential buyers interested in experiencing the future of automotive technology.
