After years of waiting, fans of the critically acclaimed action-adventure title Alan Wake can finally look forward to its sequel. Alan Wake 2 is set to release on October 17th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via the Epic Games Store. The game will build upon the unique mechanics and gameplay features of the first game, offering players the opportunity to control two different protagonists, Alan and Saga. Additionally, the updated Northlight engine brings several graphical improvements to the game.

At the time of writing, there is no mention of an Ultimate Edition or a physical copy of the game by Remedy Entertainment.
While official system requirements have not been revealed yet, it’s expected that Alan Wake 2 will have similar requirements to Remedy’s previous games, Quantum Break and Control. Potential minimum requirements include a Windows 10 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7-7700 HQ or AMD FX-9590 processor, 8-10 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX480 graphics card, and 50 GB of storage. Recommended requirements may include Windows 10 64-Bit OS, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X or Intel Core i5 11600K processor, 16 GB RAM, AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070 graphics card, and 50 GB of storage.
