Concerns Raised Over Alleged Removal of Cosmetics in Overwatch 2

Players of Overwatch 2 have expressed their concerns regarding the potential removal of cosmetic content by Blizzard. The game offers a wide range of Cosmetics, including voice lines, victory poses, skins, and weapon charms, allowing players to personalize their characters. Some of these cosmetics were carried over from the previous game and were earned through events or loot boxes, making them highly valued by players.

However, players have reported that certain cosmetics appear to have been deleted from the Hero Gallery in Overwatch 2. Examples include the Orisa voice line “Who says chivalry is dead?” and Bastion’s Summer Game medal victory pose. Some players have even claimed that the cosmetics no longer exist at all, resulting in amusing visual glitches such as Bastion A-posing when the removed pose is equipped.

While some players have observed that their friends can still access the removed cosmetics, others have been unable to do so. It remains uncertain whether this issue is a bug or a deliberate action by Blizzard. Players hope that this is an isolated incident rather than a recurring problem in Overwatch 2.
