As the automotive landscape in India continues to evolve, Compact Suvs have become a favored choice for consumers looking for versatility, style, and affordability. These vehicles offer a seamless fusion of compact dimensions and spacious interiors, making them ideal for city commutes and weekend getaways. With the growing demand for compact SUVs, several automakers are gearing up to introduce their latest offerings in this segment.

The first contender is the Citroen C3 Aircross, a mid-size SUV from the French automaker. It features a striking design with a completely revamped front bumper, muscular wheel arches, and signature Y-shaped LED headlamps. Inside, it offers a spacious cabin with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system and comes with a choice of 5-seater or 5+2-seater configurations.

Honda’s all-new Elevate midsize SUV is also set to debut next month. It aims to challenge popular models like the Hyundai Creta and the Kia Seltos. The Elevate features LED projector headlamps, a 360-degree camera, and advanced driver-assistance systems. It is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol Engine with a choice of a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor India is planning to enter the sub-4-meter SUV segment with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor. This crossover SUV is a result of their collaboration with Maruti Suzuki and is expected to feature the same exterior design as the Fronx with minor changes. It will be offered with the same engines as the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, including a 1.0-liter BoosterJet engine and a 1.2-liter petrol engine, both paired with manual and automatic transmissions.

Finally, Tata Motors is set to launch the facelifted version of its popular sub-compact SUV, the Nexon. The updated Nexon will feature a split headlamp arrangement, fresh alloy wheel designs, and an upgraded interior. It will be available with a revised 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine and the existing 1.5-liter diesel engine, with a new 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

These four new compact SUVs bring a range of designs, features, and powertrains to the market, catering to the needs of different consumers. With their upcoming debut in India next month, they are sure to capture the attention of car enthusiasts and practical buyers alike.
