Sony has revealed the list of games that will be added and removed from the PlayStation Plus Premium and Extra’s Game Catalog in August. Although not as extensive as the previous updates in June and July, this month’s lineup includes two games that will be available on the day of their release.

Historically, Sony has offered fewer day-one releases on its subscription services compared to Microsoft. However, with the introduction of Moving Out 2, a co-op game centered around furniture moving, on August 15, and the highly anticipated indie RPG Sea of Stars from Sabotage Studios on August 29, it seems that Sony is increasing its efforts in this area.

While these day-one releases are both indie games, their inclusion in the PS Plus Catalog suggests that this may become a more common occurrence in the future. Additionally, August’s catalog additions include titles such as Destiny 2: The Witch Queen and Lost Judgment.

Here is a list of the games that will be added to the PS Plus Game Catalog on August 15:

– Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed
– Two Point Hospital: Jumbo Edition
– Source of Madness
– Cursed to Golf
– Dreams
– PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night
– Hotel Transylvania: Scary-Tale Adventures
– Spellforce III Reforced
– Midnight Fight Express
– MediEvil: Resurrection
– Ape Escape: On the Loose
– Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice
– Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition (August 28)
– Sea of Stars (August 29)

Unfortunately, as part of the regular rotation, some games will be leaving the PS Plus Catalog in August. This includes the Yakuza series (Yakuza 0, Yakuza Kiwami, and Yakuza Kiwami 2), Borderlands 3, Nidhogg, DCL – The Game, Grip, The Crew 2, 8-Bit Armies, and Carmageddon: Max Damage.

Most of the games will be added and removed from the catalog on August 15.
