With an estimated power consumption of less than 150W, the SoC lays the foundation for the development of a complete Robo-Taxi system. The system also features hardware accelerators that efficiently manage high-load sensor data processing, resulting in a significant reduction in power consumption compared to existing environments. Additionally, a dedicated real-time operating system (RTOS) is seamlessly integrated to ensure seamless execution of control system processing.

With a focus on AI edge computing, the SoC aims to provide more efficient and reliable autonomous driving functions. The project’s results were obtained from a research project commissioned by NEDO.
