Volkswagen is expanding its electric vehicle lineup with the upcoming ID.7 sedan. This sedan aims to directly challenge the popular Tesla Model 3. Equipped with a 77-kWh battery and a new electric motor, the ID.7 will offer 282 horsepower and 401 lb-ft of torque. For those seeking more range, there will also be an option for an 86-kWh battery.

With a wheelbase of 116.8 inches, the ID.7 will provide spaciousness for passengers. While initially launching with a single-motor layout, it is anticipated that the ID.7 will eventually offer a dual-motor version.
