Conspiracy theorists have recently claimed to have discovered the presence of a “satellite” in a 400-year-old Painting showcasing Jesus and the Holy Ghost. Painted by Ventura Salimbeni in 1595, the Glorification of the Eucharist has attracted attention due to a perceived resemblance to a Russian satellite. Despite the fact that the Sputnik satellite was not launched until 1957, some believe that the orb-like object in the painting is, indeed, the Russian satellite.

The spiky blue sphere in the painting has intrigued those who believe in paranormal phenomena. Steve Mera, chairman of the Manchester Association of Paranormal Investigation & Training (MAPIT), explained that the painting had long puzzled experts until they made the connection to Sputnik, the first satellite to orbit the Earth. This discovery has led some to consider the possibility of religious connotations linked to the UFO phenomenon.

While this finding is not the first of its kind, with previous reports of an iPhone being spotted in a 350-year-old painting, Mera believes that the similarity between Sputnik and the object in the painting makes this discovery more plausible. The nodes and features of the spiky ball depicted in Salimbeni’s artwork align with the structure of the Russian satellite.

It seems that paintings throughout history may contain elements that appear to represent objects and technologies of the future. This includes the famous Pieter de Hooch painting, which allegedly features an iPhone, leaving even Apple CEO Tim Cook uncertain about the timeline of the iPhone’s creation.
