Severe Thunderstorm Watch in Effect for Multiple Areas

The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 11 PM EDT this evening for various counties in Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

In Delaware, the watch includes Kent and New Castle counties. In Maryland, the watch includes Kent and Queen Anne’s counties.

In New Jersey, the watch includes Mercer, Monmouth, Hunterdon, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, Warren, Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean, and Salem counties.

In Pennsylvania, the watch includes Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties.

Cities within the watch area include Allentown, Atlantic City, Bethlehem, Blairstown, Camden, Centreville, Cherry Hill, Chestertown, Deptford, Dover, Doylestown, East Brunswick, Easton, Edison, Flemington, Freehold, Glassboro, Hammonton, Jim Thorpe, Media, Millville, Moorestown, Morristown, Mount Holly, New Brunswick, Newton, Norristown, North Brunswick Township, Pennsville, Perth Amboy, Philadelphia, Reading, Sayreville, Somerset, Stroudsburg, Toms River, Trenton, West Chester, and Wilmington.
