The new DTNVS is not only lightweight but also versatile. Whether you want to hold it in your hand or attach it to a helmet or head mount, it’s up to you. Its adaptability extends to diopter adjustment, objective focus, and eye relief adjustment through the DTNVS Locking System.

Thanks to its fiber-reinforced polycarbonate body, this new binocular model boasts low weight and high stability. An optional feature allows the device to automatically turn off when folded up, conserving energy and preventing any stray light illuminations.

The LNS40 Optics Package comprises the widely acclaimed PVS14 optics. These are glass optics with a 40° FOV, slightly heavier but more resilient, providing resistance against scratches and wear. The eye piece features a diopter adjustment path from +2 to -6.

These optics are compatible with all PVS14 aftermarket accessories for both objective and eye pieces. The optics meet the 20m for 2h submersion specification.

LWT40

The LWT40 Optics Package retains similar feel and functionality of PVS14 optics but is 30% lighter compared to the LNS40 Optics Package. The objective lens, though noticeably shorter, may raise some compatibility issues. The eye piece mirrors the standard PVS14 eye piece, albeit lighter, with a diopter adjustment path from +2 to -6.

Even though the optics contain some plastic lenses and may be susceptible to wear and scratches, their quality meets or even surpasses most standard PVS14 optics in most environmental tests. The optics meet the 20m for 2h submersion specification.

LWT40D

If you’re eyeing the best optical performance, opt for the LWT40D Optics Package. It weighs a little above 5% more than the LWT40 Optics package and employs the same objective as the LWT40- a short, but significantly lighter version of the PVS14 objective.

The Ether eye piece featured in this package offers reduced weight, larger ocular diameter, and a larger eye box, making it easier for users. It facilitates an adjustable diopter from +2 to -2, and users can lock this setting to prevent any accidental changes during use.

Please note that due to its different dimensions, the Ether eye piece might face compatibility issues with most standard accessories fitting into the PVS14 eye piece. However, it accepts the standard eye cup for PVS14 and any accessories using the same attachment point.
