Shared Prepaid is a Duplex Service that enables you to use another subscriber’s Globalstar phone to make calls or connect to the internet. Prepaid calls are priced according to the voucher purchased and the destination. These calls are counted like any other calls worldwide. Circuit Switched Data connections have been available since January 2014, and Packet Data Connections since March 2014.
You can purchase Shared Prepaid vouchers physically or virtually based on your needs. The use of Shared Prepaid service involves dialing into the Pre-paid IVR system and entering the PIN provided on the card or voucher. The Shared Prepaid Service is available to Qualcomm GSP phones like GSP1600 and GSP1700 Mobile handsets or GSP2900 fixed phone. Please note that each recharge has a limited period of validity, and the cards and vouchers have an expiry date printed on them.

Is it possible to roam with a Shared Prepaid Phone in other Service areas?
No. Shared Prepaid Phones can only be used within our Home Zone. Our Home Zone currently covers both Globalstar Europe and Globalstar Avrasya Service areas. We will later extend the Shared Prepaid coverage map to include additional Globalstar service areas into our Home Zone. North and Latin America Service Areas are to be added to our Home Zone from March 2014.
