Fast Radio Bursts (FRBs) are brief and intense pulses of radio waves that last for just a few milliseconds. They were first discovered in 2007, and since then, a few hundred have been detected. The origin of Frbs is not well understood, but several theories have been proposed. Some scientists believe that they may be caused by highly magnetized neutron stars called magnetars, while others suggest that they may be generated by the collision of two neutron stars or the collapse of a supermassive star. Additionally, some theories propose that the FRBs may be of extragalactic origin. However, the exact nature of FRBs is still not known and more research is needed to determine their source.
