Rahul Gandhi On Aishwarya Rai and Amitabh Bachchan: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has voiced criticism towards Bollywood figures Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan over their involvement in the recent Ram Temple consecration ceremony. Aishwarya did not attend the event.

Speaking during the ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’, Gandhi expressed strong disapproval of the exclusion of marginalized communities from the Ram temple ceremony in Ayodhya. He highlighted the absence of invitations extended to Dalits, backward classes, and even the President, deeming it disrespectful to these sections of society.

“By inviting industrialists and Amitabh Bachchan to the Ram temple consecration, Modi has signaled that 73% of the country’s population holds no significance,” Gandhi remarked at a gathering in Lalganj Indira Chowk, Rampur Khas Assembly constituency.

He accused the BJP government of neglecting Dalits, backward classes, and tribals, constituting 73% of the population, in favor of serving the interests of capitalists.

“Modi is favoring the wealthy at the expense of farmers. Religious sentiments are being exploited to spread hatred. The government fails to address youth unemployment and women’s safety. Modi’s agencies like the ED and CBI are being used to intimidate opposition parties,” Gandhi stated, citing various concerns with the current administration.

During his visit to Lalganj Indira Chowk, Gandhi received a warm welcome from Congress leaders and party workers.

His remarks underscore broader concerns about representation in significant national events, advocating for a fairer approach in such matters.
