Raj Thackeray made this statement of unconditional support to Narendra Modi in his rally on the occasion of Gudi Padwa (Marathi New Year).

The Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) was founded in February 2006 and supported Narendra Modi in 2014. In 2019, they stood against the policies implemented by Narendra Modi, but today they are ready to support him again.

MNS party members Mihir Davte and several others have decided to leave the party, stating that some members of the party are not in agreement with Raj Saheb’s sudden decision to extend unconditional support to Narendra Modi. Therefore, it would be better for us to part ways,” said Mihir Davte.

Furthermore, he added that dealing with such changing faces has become difficult for the party. There are still some members in the party who remain silent but are also internally unhappy with the decision to offer unconditional support to Narendra Modi.

Maharashtra has 48 Lok Sabha seats, and the elections will take place between April 19th and May 20th.
