The rear of the car has also been refined in terms of the taillight design and the lower part of the rear bumper. Meanwhile, the sides of the car have undergone minimal changes, except for the new, sportier-looking alloy wheels.

For the 2024 Kia Sorento, the designers have implemented a more logical layout for the dashboard. The car is equipped with a new large curved display, which combines two 12.3-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment system. Kia has incorporated a range of advanced technical features into the new Sorento to provide customers with a new mobile experience. Additionally, the car is equipped with the Kia Digital Key 2, a digital key that allows users to unlock and open the car when approaching with a smartphone or smartwatch, without the need for a physical smart key. It also supports personalized settings for individual users.

In addition, the car offers new interior trim material options, including a combination of black and brown.

In South Korea, the new Kia Sorento is available with three powertrain options, including a 2.5L turbocharged petrol engine, a 2.2L diesel engine, and a 1.6L petrol hybrid engine. These engines are offered in four version names: Prestige, Noblesse, Trendy, and Signature.
