In an exclusive interview with NCN Magazine, Mr. Amar Subash – GM & VP, Harman Professional Solutions, APAC & India, shares his insights into the Harman’s roadshows, their brand’s future prospects, and their ongoing innovations.

Briefing about their roadshows, Mr. Amar Subash asserts, “HARMAN is currently organizing two types of roadshows- ‘Sound that Matters’ and ‘Get Powered Get Active’. The primary distinction between the two is that ‘Sound that Matters’ showcases large line array VTX series while ‘Get Powered Get Active’ showcases the complete range of powered speakers from JBL Professional. ‘Sound that Matters’ is tailored for cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore, while ‘Get Powered Get Active’ is tailored for cities like Chandigarh, Pune, Goa etc. Both the roadshows showcase indoor and outdoor speakers. This roadshow aims to introduce our customers to the diverse range of products we offer, including audio and lighting solutions from our Martin brand. We aim to conduct approximately 8 to 10 roadshows by December 2023, with three already been completed, each roadshow introducing something new.”

On the goals of their roadshows, Mr. Amar Subash elaborates, “The primary objective of these roadshows is to reach a broader audience and showcase our speaker products through live demonstrations and displays. All the products featured in these roadshows are active, allowing attendees to experience them firsthand. We stand out as one and largest manufacturer of both sound and lighting solutions. As a global company, our R&D department continually innovates with an aim to continually add new products and innovations to our portfolio.”

Regarding the participants in their roadshows, Mr. Amar Subash comments, “From HARMAN’s perspective, this event is a collaboration with our master distributor. For instance, in Delhi, APEX serves is our master distributor for retail products. We are actively supporting APEX in giving their clients the opportunity to experience our products. Our target audience for this event spans rental companies, sound engineers, and system integrators—anyone who may use our products.

We are getting a very good response to these roadshows from partners across India. We are expecting that these roadshows will significantly improve our brand imaging, visibility, and reach, and take our brand to the next level in coming years.”
