The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were originally going to be released on December 1

The Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro were originally going to be released on December 1, which were then postponed. But Xiaomi still shows off the sophistication of the cellphone camera through a video.

Xiaomi says that the Xiaomi 13 Pro will use the main camera with a 1-inch sensor that has a 50MP resolution, namely the Sony IMX989 sensor. Meanwhile, the telephoto camera will have a lens equivalent to 75mm, or 3x magnification.

The camera system has a lens element that can move back and forth to adjust focus, from closest to infinity, with the closest focus point being 10cm.

Of course, this camera is designed based on collaboration with Leica, not just displaying the Iconic Leica Logo on the cellphone body.

The body shape of the Xiaomi 13 Pro also previously appeared in a hands-on video that was circulating. The video shows the rear camera design and a number of specifications for the flagship phone. Namely Android 13 with MIUI 14, 8GB/128GB RAM/storage, and Snapdragon 8 gen 2.

The type of RAM and storage used by the Xiaomi 13 Pro looks up to date, namely LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0, which are faster than the previous types.

Previously reported, Xiaomi's big boss Lei Jun showed off an official render image from the HP complete with the iconic Leica logo. From the picture it can be seen that Xiaomi 13 will use a flat OLED panel and not curved like Xiaomi 12 and Mi 11.

From the picture it can also be seen that the Xiaomi 13 screen has a 1.61mm thick bezel on the top and sides, while on the bottom the bezel is 1.81mm thick. The width of the cellphone was also revealed, which is 71.5mm, or exactly the same as the iPhone 14 (and iPhone 14 Pro) and wider than the Xiaomi 12 which is 69.9mm wide.

There is one other interesting thing, namely the Xiaomi 13 is equipped with an IP68 rating. Previously, the Xiaomi flagship cellphone that had an IP68 rating was only the Mi 11 Ultra.
