Hello readers!

I am back again with you to share some updates about today that you should always be aware of, and please do share and follow the content if you like the content. If you want to help me, or if you want any help, you are free to do so in the comment box below.

So let us begin the news with more zeal because these are highly revised and top-picked from many that will pique your interest.

1. Snapchat launches a kite game for Lohri.

We were doing many things virtually prior to lockdown as well, but after lockdown, we were like in VR, as I have seen people doing aarti virtually, giving money via UPI, or touring from one location to another, which is also available on the internet.

So what do you think of this virtual thing that can't be done virtually but happens virtually? I have many thoughts about it, but I'm not sure what to say, so I'll return to the news or update via Snapchat.

As many young people and others enjoy using Snapchat to make streaks and use filters, they have now uploaded some special filters for the Lohri and Sankranti festivals, which are all celebrated on the same day under different names throughout India for various reasons.

Tanishqua, a Snapchat lens maker, created Kite Mania, an AR-based kite game. Users may design and fly kites in the game. They will also have to catch string balls while avoiding scissors and birds. To play the game, open the app and search for Kite Mania.

Aside from the game, numerous people have designed their own filters. While others have added "til ka laddus," a bonfire, and colourful kites, others have placed holiday wishes in various fonts.

Interestingly, distinct snap filters can be observed during Pongal in Tamil Nadu, Makara Sankranti in Telangana, Pedda Panduga in Andhra Pradesh, Magh Bihu in Assam, and Lohri in Haryana and Punjab. There is a distinct set of filters for each of the country's harvest celebrations.

2. Tiktok and Tencent are banned in the United States.

You must have heard these two names, and I'm sure you did; if not, please mention it in your comment. Tiktok is the platform on which many actors make their careers. Personally, I dislike this app, and some governments do as well. The Indian government has many reasons to dislike Tiktok.

Second, you've probably heard of the company "Tencent," which collaborated on PUBG, PUBGM, and BGMI, and for that only, they were banned again and again in India, and now they are finally banned, but we are hearing some rumours of them coming back in India.

What are your thoughts on whether PUBG should return to India? And what do you desire? These are two important questions that I want you to answer in the comment box.

The governors of Wisconsin and North Carolina signed orders on Thursday restricting the use of TikTok on government devices owing to cyber security concerns, joining other US states and the federal government in doing so.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers announced a ban on suppliers, goods, and services from additional Chinese firms, including Huawei Technologies, Hikvision, Tencent Holdings (the owner of WeChat), ZTE Corp., and Russian-based Kaspersky Lab, in addition to Chinese-owned TikTok.

Evers also stated that "Defending our state's technological and cybersecurity infrastructure, as well as preserving digital privacy, must be a primary responsibility for us as a state in the digital era,".

3. Tim Cook will have his 40 percent pay cut at Apple.

Apple is an American multinational company, and this company has a very different identity in the market from the previous year to now, and it will be because the product they deliver is costly, but they always justify the price because they are extra ordinary in this price segment.

Apple is slashing Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook's remuneration by more than 40% in 2023, to $49 million, which is approximately Rs. 399 crore, citing investor advice and a request from Cook himself.

As part of the adjustments, the firm said in a regulatory filing Thursday that the percentage of stock units given to Cook and linked to Apple's performance will climb to 75 percent in 2023 from 50 percent now and in subsequent years.

Cook got $99.4 million, which is approximately Rs. 809 crore, in remuneration for 2022, which included $3 million, or about Rs. 24 crore, in basic pay, $83 million, or roughly Rs. 675 crore, in stock awards, and a bonus. This was an increase from his entire salary package of $98.7 million in 2021, which is roughly Rs. 803 crore.

You are free to comment about this article in the comment box, and what I want to say about all the amounts and rupees we discussed is "isme tera ghar jayenga." in the voice of MC Stan.

Launch after launch

1. The first iQoo 11-5g sale on Amazon.

I'm not sure which YouTube channel you prefer for technical updates, but in my spare time, I enjoy watching videos by Techburner, Technical Guruji, and others, all of whom have a wealth of knowledge. BMW Motorsport also uses Iqoo branding, and they give lots of compliments about the product because they work with them, but they don't say anything about the second face of this phone.

So, before you buy, you should wait for a review by someone who isn't promoting Iqoo 11, because it's difficult to find a genuine video that gives the true justification for the phone. As always, iQoo works on gaming phones, so there are no doubts about iQoo, but it's your choice whether you go after the specifications or a genuine review of the smartphone.

Share your thoughts on what you think of these famous channels' promotional videos and whether they are responsible for influencing us toward good products. So what should they do? Are they doing well because they also need money, obviously?

Coming back to the news that the iQoo 11 5G is currently available exclusively for Amazon Prime subscribers in India, the new iQoo smartphone, which is powered by Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, will be available for purchase on Friday, January 13 at 12 p.m. IST.

The phone was released earlier this week in two colour variants. The iQoo 11 5G includes a 6.78-inch 2K E6 AMOLED display and three back cameras, one of which is a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It has a 5,000 mAh battery and supports 120 watts of rapid charging. The FlashCharge rapid charging technology claims to charge the battery from 0 to 100% in 25 minutes.

Its base price starts at INR 59,999 and goes up to INR 64,999. and you can buy it from the iqoo official site and from Amazon too.

I won't make this article too long by going into detail about this product because there are numerous videos on YouTube describing the features and all, but by clicking here, you can go to the Iqoo 11 sale buying page in a new tab.

2. OnePlus 11 5G

Now I'll talk briefly about the OnePlus 11 (5G), which was released in China and will now be released in India on February 7, 2023, during Valentine's Week. So I will discuss some important things about this device.

Availability

On February 7, at 7.30 p.m. IST, this phone will be available on Amazon as well as the OnePlus online store. So be ready to buy this phone on that day, because OnePlus has lots of fans and it will be out of stock soon if you are not fast enough.

Processor and OS

The main core inside any phone or device we see is its processor and how clean an operating system it provides. This smartphone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 gen 2 processor and an Adreno 740 GPU, making it the first in India, as well as 16GB of RAM in LPDDR5X and 256GB of storage.

Display

OnePlus displays are also owned by Samsung, which gives perfection in terms of display, and they can give strong competition to the iPhone in terms of display. It features a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMoled display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 nits that is protected by Gorilla Glass 7.

Camera

All smartphones are racing to increase the number of cameras, but Oneplus is working to improve the quality of the cameras, which is where they gain user trust. As its primary camera, it supports the latest Sony IMX890 sensor, a 50 MP camera with OIS. It also has 48 MP for ultra wide and 32 MP for portrait, resulting in a tri-camera setup with intriguing camera bumps in the back.

Battery

The main topic of discussion is the battery backup of smartphones and how the OS manages the battery, such as how the amazing iPhone OS can provide more battery life in the same package as Android phones. This device is packed with a 5000mAh dual battery and supports 100W SuperVOOC fast charging. Don't be shocked about SuperVOOC because OnPlus and OPPO are now collaborating, so they are using their technology for branding as well.

So that's it from me for today, and if you like the content, please share it with your tech groups and follow it on the main page, and leave a comment if you want to help me or if you want to give feedback on it.

I'll be back tomorrow with more exciting news and an update on the technical fronts, but until then, keep smiling and staying healthy.
