Kovai kutralam :
It is the also known as the siruvani water falls which is collected by the siruvani reservoir. Siruvani is the second sweetest water in the world which ranks of 90 out of 100. Famous Noyyal River passes through this water fall. To reach out Kovai kutralam you should reach sadivayal first. Then after you will be taken to the water fall through the forest. You could also rent a paid van provided only by the forest service in that locality. No other public transport are allowed to enter inside the forest area. As the difference the water in that falls is so chill as it comes from the top of the hill. The best time to visit this place can be after the monsoon season that after December. Sometimes people are not allowed if the rainfall is so high.
Velliyangiri Hills :
This is one of the interesting and mystery filled hill in Coimbatore. There are so many belief shared about this hills. Velliyangiri hills is located near Isha yoga center. It is hill mainly for the people who love trekking experience and also for the Lord vishnu devotees. Once after reaching the entrance of the hill you and your bag will be enquired in order to avoid any violence in the hill. The trekking starts from small steps and then the path gets so hectic to walk. The total distance to reach the temple is of 6 Kilometre from the starting of the hill. later on the surface becomes so perpendicular to climb the hill. The best time to visit this place is from November. I would prefer to start the climb the hill in the evening. It will be easy to climb in the night as there will be no sun which makes it still more easy than the day time. It is advised that to carry more snacks and water while climbing and also to be noted that girls are not allowed to climb the hill.
Isha Yoga centre :
Now this Isha yoga centre is located in the foot hill of Veliyangiri temple. Sadhguru he is the founder of Isha yoga centre. It is so famous for the huge Shivan statue. The place is so calm for yoga and meditation. All you need is to get a ticket to get inside the foundation. Then you are allowed to visit the statue. Even you are allowed to bath in a big well. The water was so chill and only the boys are allowed to get inside the well. There is a separate section for girls to bath. Before getting inside the well it is mandatory to wear the clothes they provide. There is a separate meditation hall where the place was so silent perfect suited for meditation. There are few villas in Madamapatti and also that is for sale fro 35+ lakh located for the person who preffer to live in a greenery Environment.

The places which i mentioned is just a bit. There are also other places to explore in the other parts of Coimbatore. Now heading to Pollachi from Coimbatore main in between from madukkarai you can find the Walayar Dam. Then after pollachi heading towards Valparai You can find the Aliyar Dam, monkey falls, Water falls with beautiful estates. Once then heading towards Challakudi you can find Sholayar Dam, Athirapalli falls.
