It is no longer a secret. The most trusted tech tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed through his Weibo account all of the key specifications of the display of the upcoming true flagship smartphone from Oneplus, the OnePlus 12.

According to him, the OnePlus 12 will have a massive 6.82″ BOE-manufactured LPTO OLED curved display. The display will run at 120Hz and have a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels.
The peak brightness of the OnePlus 12’s display is also expected to be 2600nits, which when we compare it to its predecessor, the upcoming OnePlus 12’s screen will be able to achieve double what the OnePlus 11’s screen could in terms of brightness.
Additionally, OnePlus is reported to have included a 2160Hz PWM dimming technology into the display of the phone which to some degree will minimize the chances of getting migraine or eye fatigue when using a phone in low-light environments.

Besides these details, most of the other specifications and even the possible final design of the phone have already been leaked. The OnePlus 12 will be equipped with a triple camera setup that consists of a 50MP IMX966 primary wide camera with support for OIS and AF, a macro-enabled 48MP IMX581 ultrawide sensor with support for AF and a 3x 64MP periscope telephoto lens. The selfie shooter will most probably be a 32MP sensor.
The higher-capacity battery and ultra-fast charging options are also tipped. The OnePlus 12 could pack a 5400mAh battery and support 100W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
It will be among the first smartphones to launch with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 series chipset, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Moreover, the handset is reportedly scheduled for Q4 2023 China launch. It is also expected to make its way into the global markets just like its predecessors, and for now, most sources are claiming that it will launch in early 2023, most likely in January, just as tech journalist Max Jumbor shared.
