The Camera specifications of OnePlus’ first folding smartphone dubbed the OnePlus Open have emerged. And just like the leaks and early rumours suggested this foldable is expected to come with a total of five cameras. two selfie cameras and three rear cameras.

OnePlus Open Foldable: Rear Camera Setup
The rear camera system will include a wide-angle, ultra-wide, and telephoto camera. Starting with the wide-angle camera, the wide-angle camera will be a 48MP Sony LYT T808 sensor with a size of 1/1.43″. It will have an aperture of f/1.7 and a focal length of 24mm. It is also expected to support OIS(Optical Image Stabilization) and AF( Auto Focus).
Moving to the second rear camera which is an ultrawide lens, the foldable is expected to feature a Sony IMX 581 sensor with a resolution of 48MP. The telephoto camera will have a size of 1/2″, an angle of vision of 114°, a focal length of 14mm, and an aperture of f/2.2. There won’t be support for OIS with this lens, but rumours suggest it will still support AF.
The third camera on the rear will be a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with an aperture of f/2.6 and a focal length of 145mm. The telephoto camera will use an OmniVision OV64B sensor with a size of 1/2″ and an aperture of f/2.6. And like with all flagship devices, we expect the OnePlus Open to offer best-in-class zoom capabilities. The 64MP periscope camera has been tipped to support 3x optical zoom and up to 120X digital zoom.
Selfie Cameras
Moving on to the front-facing cameras, the OnePlus Open foldable is reported to have a 32MP sensor in its outer display and a 20MP sensor. The 32MP camera is said to have a focal length of f/2.2 while the other hand, 20MP camera is said to have an aperture of f/2.4.
As of the moment, you should take these details with a pinch of salt, but since the official unveiling of the OnePlus Open is just a day away, most of the details are expected to be revealed tomorrow by the company itself.
