Asus Zenfone 10 5G Arrives With Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 16GB RAM and Quick Wireless Charging: As it was promised, Asus has finally revealed its latest flagship phone from its Zenfone lineup, the Asus Zenfone 10.

The Asus Zenfone 10, which is the successor to the 2022’s Zenfone 9, is one of few the tiny flagship devices running the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Asus Zenfone 10 Specifications

The Asus Zenfone 10 comes packed with a 5.9-inch Samsung-made AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, an aspect ratio of 20 by 9, and a peak brightness of 1100nits. The display has been confirmed to be able to refresh at up 144Hz. For protection, Zenfone 10’s front panel is made using a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

This machine measures 146.5×68.1 ×9.4mm and weighs 172 grams.

Under the hood, the Zenfone 10 includes a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor backed up with 8GB or 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. It runs on Android 13 with ASUS ZenUI skin on top. Regarding storage capacity, the handsets offer up to 256GB of storage with the base model including 128GB of storage like the last-gen model.

The Zenfone 10 hosts a 4300mAh battery which supports 30 watts of rapid charging. The new Zenfone phone also supports wireless charging and reverse-wired charging. According to the company’s website, it is rated 15W for wireless charging and 5W for reverse wired charging.

On the front, there is a circular cutout for a 32MP selfie camera. The handset is a dual-camera phone that includes a wide and ultrawide camera. The wide camera uses a Sony IMX766 flagship sensor and has an aperture of F1.9, a resolution of 50 megapixels, a focal length of 23.8 mm as well as a 6-Axis Hybrid Gimbal Stabilizer 2.0 which according to the company”, gives you even smoother videos and shake-free photo when you’re moving, thanks to the hardware anti-shake OIS, upgraded Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) software algorithm, and fast auto-focus.”

The ultrawide has a resolution of 13 megapixels, an angle of vision of 120 ̊ and a focal length of 12.5mm.

And while the rear camera can record video at 8K UHD (7680 x 4320) at 24 framerate per second. And on the other hand, Asus seems to have downgraded the camera recording capability of the front by only allowing support for FHD/30fps or HD/60fps. For those who are unaware, the previous Zenfone 9 supports up to 4K video recording via a front camera.

The handset includes a multitude of sensors, that include an Accelerator, E-Compass, Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, Gyro (Support ARCore) and Hall sensor.

In terms of wireless connectivity, the Zenfone 10 supports Bluetooth 5.3, WiFi 7, and NFC.

Moreover, the Asus Zenfone 10 comes with a side-fingerprint reader, a 3.5mm audio jack, Dual stereo speakers with Dirac HD Sound, two microphones with OZO Audio Noise Reduction Technology and an IP68 rating.

Storage and Colour Options

The Asus Zenfone 10 comes in multicolour options. You can either purchase a Midnight Black
Comet White, Eclipse Red, Aurora Green, or Starry Blue.

On the other hand, this device is only available in three storage configurations, 8GB + 128GB, 8+256GB and 16GB + 256 GB.

Pricing and Availability

The Zenfone 10 is expected to be available for purchase in July. The handset starts from €729 (~Rs 71,300) for the base 8GB + 128GB storage option and goes up to €929 for the 16GB + 256GB model. And for those who are thinking of getting a mid-trim model of the device with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will have to pay 929 Euros.
