Back in October this year, even before the Oppo Reno 9 series debut in China, the renowned tech tipster Digital Chat Station spoke for the first time about the changes that would come to the upcoming Oppo Reno series. In his post, he revealed Oppo’s plan of wanting to bring back the periscope telephoto camera to the Reno series phone(s). And yesterday on one of the Weibo posts he shared, the tipster disclosed the rear and front sketched design of the alleged Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus as well as some of the key specifications.

Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus: Rumoured Specifications

According to him, the Oppo Reno 10 Pro Plus will use a 1.5K OLED display with curved edges. The display could support up to 120Hz refresh rate, like most upper midrange and flagship phones.

Regarding performance, this phone might be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and a MariSilicon X NPU chipset for imaging. Like most flagship phone launching in 2023, this handset might end up launching with Android 13 out of the box.

The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ will feature a triple camera arrangement made up of an OIS-enabled 50mp Sony IMX 890 sensor. The other rear cameras are expected to be Sony’s 8mp IMX355 sensor and unidentified periscope lens. Front video recording and selfies are expected to be handled by a 32mp sensor, which will be positioned in the upper centre of the front panel.

When it comes to battery specifications, this handset is rumoured to be featuring a dual-cell battery with a total of 4700mAh. And also it is expected to come with 80W SuperVOOC charging.

There is no word on when this phone will be launching, but to venture a guess, this device could debut in the early third quarter of 2023. And also, it is expected to launch alongside its siblings, Oppo Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro.
