Even since we entered Q4 2022, we have been hearing a bunch of rumours all over the internet concerning the upcoming Oneplus flagships; Most were pointing out that the company will be back to its tradition of releasing two flagships at once, but unlike past years regular OnePlus 11 was rumoured to be coming with few upgrades compared to the OnePlus 11 Pro. The OnePlus 11 was also rumoured would come with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC instead of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

But now everything has changed as it is rumoured that the company halted the plan of launching two OnePlus 11 phones together, so there will only be the OnePlus 11, which will come with every specification the OnePlus 11 Pro was rumoured to be coming with.

OnePlus 11: Specifications

As per Digital Chat Station, the OnePlus 11 will be rocking a 6.7″ 2K (3216×1440p) LTPO 120Hz Curved AMOLED screen with a punch-hole in the upper left corner of the screen for a 32mp selfie camera.

Like most highest-end phones, the OnePlus 11 will make use of Qualcomm’s flagship chipset known as Snapdragon 8 Gen2. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, which is a successor to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, is scheduled to debut next month and is expected to power multitudes of flagship phones launching starting from the end of this year. This device will ship with Android 13 with the company’s skin, OxygenOS 13, on top. It will support LPDDR5X memory and a UFS 4.0 storage system.

The OnePlus 11 will be equipped with a combination of three cameras at the back: an OIS-enabled 50mp wide camera, a 48mp ultrawide camera and a 32mp telephoto camera. As revealed in the shared renders, the OnePlus 11 will come with a redesigned camera bump, all of these cameras are expected to be housed in the circular bump located on the upper left corner of the back panel.

The OnePlus 11 is expected to use a dual-cell battery with a total amount of 5000mAh.The handset could carry support for 100W fast charging. Moreover, the handset is expected to come with support for NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 technology and under-display fingerprint scanning for authentication.

There is no word on the variants of the OnePlus 11 that will be released, but we are most likely to see 8GB RAM on the base model of the OnePlus 11. The maximum RAM and storage capacities could be 12GB or 16GB and 256GB or 512GB, respectively.

The handset is rumoured to be launching in the early first quarter of 2023. According to trusted sources, OnePlus has not killed the OnePlus 11 Pro, but it is planning to introduce it later in 2023, most likely in the second half of the year.
