In the early third quarter of 2022, Asus launched Asus Rog 6 series phones, Asus Rog 6 and 6 Pro, all these phones were launched with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset; Two months later the company announced the Asus Rog 6D series, almost the same phones (as the Asus Rog 6 series phones) but with a different processor.

The Asus Rog 6D lineup includes the regular Asus Rog 6D and the Rog 6D Ultimate. Unlike most gaming phones, these machines are not powered by Qualcomm processors instead they use a high-end processor from the Taiwan-based semiconductor manufacturer Media Tek, the Media Tek Dimensity 9000+.
Both Asus Rog 6D and 6D Ultimate have 6.78″ E4 OLED+165Hz displays,6000mAh batteries, MediaTek MT6338 sound chip, 50mp Sony IMX 766 primary sensors and 12mp selfie shooters. Both phones support up to 65W fast wired charging. And also they include 3.5mm headphone jacks.
The Asus Rog 6D packs 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS3.1 storage, while the Ultimate version has 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 16GB Of LPDDR5X memory.
The 12GB+ 256GB Asus Rog 6D will set you back £799, while the Ultimate version comes in at £1,199. The Ultimate version comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
