Xiaomi is releasing the new premium mid-tier, Xiaomi Civi 2, in China on September 27th,2022. We are currently two days away from the official unveiling day and most of the details concerning the device have been confirmed by the brand on its Weibo page.

Xiaomi Civi 2 has been confirmed to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, triple camera system, and 4500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. This handset is expected to come with a curved screen with a centred pill-shaped cutout for two selfie snappers, a 32mp wide-angle camera and a 32mp ultrawide camera. The screen size has not yet been revealed, but details on the screen’s resolution and refresh rate are out: the Xiaomi Civi 2 will be equipped with an FHD+ panel that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will run on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top. Like the other Civi phones, Xiaomi Civi 2 will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Civi 2 will be 7.23mm thin and weigh 171.8g.

The Xiaomi Civi 2 will be the third Xiaomi phone from the Civi series and also among the few midrange phones that are powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset this year; Oppo Reno 8 Pro is among them. The Xiaomi Civi is expected to go head to head with Oppo Reno 8 Pro, Samsung Galaxy A73, OnePlus Nord 2T, Honor 70 and Nothing Phone 1.
