The China-based phone maker Xiaomi unveiled Xiaomi 12T series yesterday globally. The Xiaomi 12T series line-up includes the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro.
Xiaomi 12T: Specifications, Variants, and Pricing
The Xiaomi 12T has a 6.67″ 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED with 480Hz touch response rate and HDR10+ support. The phone’s screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Xiaomi 12T comes with a new iteration of Media Tek Dimensity 8100 known as Dimensity 8100 Ultra.
The back camera setup is made up of an OIS-enabled 108mp wide-angle shooter, an 8mp ultrawide and a 2mp macro lens. There is a centred punch hole in the front panel for a 20mp sensor.
The Xiaomi 12T uses a massive 5000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. This phone is powered by Android 12(MIUI 13). Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage, 3725mm² Vapor chamber, X-axis Motor, and dual speakers by Dolby Atmos.
The Xiaomi 12T comes in two versions,8+128GB and 8+256GB, which are priced at 599€ and 649€, respectively.
According to Xiaomi, the Xiaomi 12T will get 3 years of Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
Xiaomi 12T Pro: Specifications, Variants, and Pricing
Xiaomi 12T Pro is armed with a 6.67″ 1.5K 120Hz 12bit AMOLED screen with HDR10+ support and a peak brightness of 1200nits. It has an aspect ratio of 20 by 9, and its display has a pixel density of 446PPI. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro is 8.6mm thick and weighs 205g.
Unlike the regular Xiaomi 12T model, this model uses a Qualcomm chipset: The Xiami 12t Pro is fueled by a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with Adreno 730 GPU and 8 or 12GB of memory. This phone packs 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. The handset supports LPDDR5 memory type and UFS 3.1 storage system.
It is powered by MIUI 13, which is developed based on Android 12. This phone will be eligible for 3 Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates.
In terms of camera specifications, the Xiaomi 12T Pro is equipped with a 200MP primary camera which is joined with an 8mp ultrawide camera and a 2mp macro camera. Currently, the Xiaomi 12T Pro is the world’s fourth phone to launch with a 200mp camera; The first phone to launch with this sensor is Motorola X30 Pro. The rear camera system of the Xiaomi 12T Pro supports up to 8K (7680x4320p) 24fps video recording.
The 20mp sensor, which is housed at the top centre of the screen, is responsible for selfies and video chats. The selfie camera can record up to 1080p video at 60fps.
Like the standard Xiaomi 12T, this handset also packs a 5000mAh ultra-large battery that supports up to 120W fast wired charging. According to the company, Xiaomi 12T Pro can be fully charged within 19 minutes.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro features Android12 with MIUI 13 on top. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, a 3725mm² vapour chamber, X-axis Motor, and Dual Speakers(Harman Kardon).
This machine comes in three finishes, Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Clear Blue.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro starts at €749 for the 8+128GB model. The 8+256GB is selling for €799 and the highest-end variant comes in at €849.
Xiaomi has included all important items in the package of both of its phones; The package contains the phone, Adapter, USB Type-C Cable, SIM Eject Tool, Protective Case, Quick Start Guide and Warranty Card.
