Gutfeld joined the Fox News political talk show The Five in 2011 as a co-host and panelist. The show aired on weekdays at 5:00 P.M. ET. In 2015, he decided to step down from his role as the host of Red Eye, and Tom Shillue took over as his successor. Gutfeld started hosting a new late-night talk show on Fox News called The Greg Gutfeld Show in the same year. It originally aired on Saturdays at 10:00 P.M. ET. They announced in 2021 that the show will be changing its schedule to weeknights at 11:00 P.M. ET, beginning in the second quarter of the year.
